Carol Overton Dies At 36 Years

Mrs. Don Overton, a resident of St. Charles the last 10 years died Friday, Sept. 1, at a hospital in Des Moines. She was 36 years of age.

Mrs. Overton was the former Carol Ann Schultz, daughter of Walter and Margaret Morain Schultz. Her early life was spent in West Des Moines.

She was married to Don Overton on Aug. 29, 1959. She was a member of the Christian Church at St. Charles.

In addition to her husband, she leaves two sons, William and Tim, at home; a brother, Richard Schultz of Jefferson; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Schultz of Des Moines; and a grandmother, Mrs. Earl Morain of Des Moines.

Funeral services were held this Tuesday from the St. Charles Christian Church conducted by the Rev. Tom Foglesong of Des Moines. Burial was made in Resthaven cemetery in Des Moines.
