ROBERT G. ORR DIED FRIDAY

Retired Livestock Buyer Was 74 Years of Age

Robert G. Orr, well-known Winterset livestock buyer for many years, died Friday, Dec. 23, at his home in Lincoln township. He was 74 years of age.

Mr. Orr was born at Winterset on Nov. 8, 1886, a son of George and Kathryn Gray Orr. His life was spent in Madison county, with the exception of several years lived in St. Paul, Minn., and in Montana.

He was married March 14, 1907 at Peru to Louise Green, who survives him. He also leaves a grandson, Bobby Smith of St. Paul. His only daughter, Louise, preceded him in death.

Funeral services were held Monday from the Anderson-Wilson Funeral home, in charge of the Rev. Robert Owens, pastor of the Winterset Christian church. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
