Wednesday, January 11, 1956MRS. SARAH M. TAYLOR OF PERU DIED MONDAY
Mrs. Sarah M. Taylor of Peru died at a Winterset nursing home this Monday, Jan. 9, at the age of 91 years.
Mrs. Taylor was a life-long resident of Madison county. She was the former Sarah M. Hogue, daughter of William and Elizabeth Humphrey Hogue, and was born in Madison county on April 5, 1864. She was married in 1897 to Clyde Taylor, who preceded her in death.
She was a member of the Church of God.
Surviving are two sons, Floyd Taylor of Portland, Ore., and Glen Taylor of Peru; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services were to be held this Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the Richards Funeral home, conducted by the Rev. Carl T. Burton. Burial was to be made in the Peru cemetery.
