Wednesday, January 11, 1956MRS. J. A. SAUM DIED LAST WEEK AT PERRY
Mrs. J. A. Saum, a former resident of Winterset, was found dead in bed at her home in Perry last Friday morning. She is thought to have died shortly after retiring Thursday evening. She was 81 years of age.
Mrs. Saum was the mother of Leland Saum of Winterset. Her husband preceded her in death. Other children surviving are two sons, John Saum of Marshalltown and Boyd Saum of Oakland, Calif.; and two daughters, Mrs. Roy Wagner of Bagley and Fay Milner of Santa Monica, California.
Funeral services were held this Monday at Perry and burial was made at Panora.
