Death of Frank Smith

Frank Smith, a former resident of Winterset and Madison county, died at Douglas, Wyoming, Thursday, October 31st, at the age of 46 years. Mr. Smith was born at Truro, March 21, 1883, and was a son of Mr. and Mrs. James Watson Smith. He lived with his parents at Truro, until he was 18 years of age, when he moved with them to Winterset. In 1911 he moved to Peru, where his mother and two sisters now reside. For the past few months he had been employed in Wyoming.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Worthing, two brothers, Sam, of Colorado, and Fred, of Wyoming, and two sisters, Mrs. J. W. Shearer and Mrs. C. L. Wilkinson, of Peru.

The body was shipped back to Peru, and funeral services were conducted there, at the Methodist church, Sunday afternoon, November 3. Burial was made in the Ebenezer cemetery.
