Death of William Smith

William Smith, who had been in the University hospital in Iowa City, for the past month, suffering from an infection in his hip, died Thursday morning, August 29th. The funeral was held Friday afternoon at his home in Bevington and interment was in the Blair Chapel cemetery.

Mr. Smith was 63 years of age and was born and reared in Crawford township. His immediate survivors are a brother, John, of Centerville, a sister, Mrs. Curt Thompson, of New Virginia; two brothers, Frank and Joe, and a sister, Jane, at home.
