DEATH OF B. B. LIENEMANN

Van Meter Special, November 9--

B. B. Lienemann passed away at his home about noon Tuesday, November 1st after an illness of less than three weeks. Mr. Lienemann had been a resident of this community for about fifty years. He was born in Jackson county, Iowa sixty-five years ago. His marriage to Miss Emma Kading occurred thirty-nine years ago. He is survived by his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Alfred Koch, Mrs. Fred Martens, one son Clarence Lienemann, a brother John of Coffeyville, Kansas and a sister, Mrs. Lena Thoms of Elgin, Illinois.

The funeral service was held Friday afternoon at the Lutheran church conducted by the pastor, the Rev. C. Lillie. Interment was in the Lutheran cemetery.

B. B. LIENEMANN DIES TUESDAY, NOV. 1

Brachter B. Lienemann, 65, one of the prominent farmers of the Van Meter neighborhood, died Tuesday, November 1, at his home, he became critically ill October 16 while at the W. J. Kading home at Casey, and was taken to his home where death followed November 1. The Rev. C. Little conducted the solemn service at the Trinity Lutheran church in Jefferson township and burial was in the Lutheran cemetery.

Mr. Lienemann was born in Andrew Jackson county, March 18, 1867. His parents were B. P. and Johanna Hostie Lienemann, the family moving to Madison county in 1882.

He was married to Miss Emma Kading of Casey, March 7, 1894. He was baptized in early infancy and in 1894, by confirmation, became a member of the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran church in Jefferson township.

His survivors are his wife, a son Clarence, two daughters, Mrs. Nora Koch and Mrs. Fernanda Martens, and eight grandchildren; a brother, John L. of Coffeyville, Kansas; a sister, Mrs. Lena Thomas of Elgin, Illinois.
