PAUL OGLESBEE OF ST. CHARLES DIES

His Death Occurred on Last Friday at Age of 56 Years

Paul Oglesbee of St. Charles died last Friday, Dec. 3, at a Des Moines hospital. He was 56 years of age.

Mr. Oglesbee was born at Truro Aug. 3, 1909, a son of Vernie and Nettie Simmons Oglesbee. For the last eight years he had lived at St. Charles. He was employed in Des Moines as night maintenance supervisor at Meredith Publishing company.

He was married in 1928 to Marjorie Huss of Winterset, who survives him.

Mr. Oglesbee was a member of the First Christian church at St. Charles.

In addition to his wife, he leaves four daughters, Mrs. Dale Libby, Mrs. Ernest Libby and Madge Oglesbee of St. Charles and Mrs. Dale Carpenter of Winterset; two sons, Mack Oglesbee of St. Charles and Paul Wayne Oglesbee of St. Charles; 14 grandchildren; and a brother, Elza Oglesbee of Peru.

Funeral services were held Monday from the First Christian church at St. Charles, conducted by the Rev. Tom Foglesong of Des Moines. Burial was made in the St. Charles cemetery.
