HARRY OGLESBEE OF WINTERSET DIES

Harry G. Oglesbee of Winterset, a life-time resident of Madison county, died Friday Feb. 21, at Memorial hospital in Winterset. Mr. Oglesbee was a retired farmer. He was 70 years of age.

Mr. Oglesbee was born in Madison county Sept. 24, 1898, a son of Noah W. and Rosella Stevens Oglesbee. He was married at Peru on Dec. 28, 1927 to Myrtle M. Hess, who survives him.

He attended the Methodist church.

In addition to his wife, he leaves five children, Morris L. Oglesbee of Winterset, Jerrie Lorraine England of Earlham, Harry G. Oglesbee, Jr., of Bloomfield, Colo., Thelma L. Gray of Winterset and Gerald F. Oglesbee of West Des Moines; 18 grandchildren; two brothers, Everett L. Oglesbee of Winterset and Harley L. Oglesbee of Thayer; and three sisters, Mrs. Nellie King of Kamrar, Mrs. Gladys Evans of Winterset, and Mrs. Versa Faust of St. Charles.

Funeral services were held Monday from the Collins Funeral home in Winterset, conducted by the Rev. E. K. Burham, pastor of theFirst United Methodist church of Winterset. Burial was made in King cemetery.
