Kathryn Nunan Dies at 91 Years

Kathryn B. Nunan of Winterset, a resident of Madison county most of her life, died Tuesday, Dec. 19, at Madison Manor here. She was 91 years of age.

Miss Nunan was a daughter of John and Mary Dowd Nunan, and was born at Stuart Jan. 9, 1881.

She was a long-time member of the parish of St. Joseph's Catholic church in Winterset.

Miss Nunan was the last surviving member of her immediate family, three brothers and three sisters having preceded her in death. Nearest surviving relatives are two nephews, W. E. Nunan, Jr., of Edina, Minn., and Frank W. Nunan of Pekin, Ill.

The Rosary service and funeral Mass were held Friday from St. Joseph's church, with the pastor, the Rev. John Hart, officiating.

Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
