Quite a few of this vicinity attended the funeral of Mrs. Edna Lauterbaugh on Thursday, who died of pneumonia Feb. 24th. Funeral services were held at the house and she was laid to rest at Union Chapel cemetery, (Jefferson Township)

MORTUARY
Edna Gladys Lauterbaugh, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Shearer, was born near Macksburg, Iowa, July 16, 1895, and died at the parental home Feb. 24, 1914, of pneumonia.
She was united in marriage, Jan. 23, 1913, to Clarence Lauterbaugh. Until her marriage, she had always lived at home, being in care of the home and younger brothers and sisters. She was of a family of twelve children, one sister and seven brothers living at home and three married sisters: Mrs. C. W. Hollingsworth of Sedalia, Mo., Mrs. C. C. Armbrest of Winterset and Mrs. G. F. Cherry, a twin sister of Valley Junction.
Funeral services were held at the home of her parents, near Booneville, Thursday at 1 p.m. Interment at the U. B. cemetery.
