Mardyll McGraw, Winterset

Mardyll A. McGraw, 73, of Winterset, died of congestive heart failure, May 23, 1995 at Mercy Hospital in Corning. Funeral services were May 30 at Roland Funeral Home in Atlantic. Burial was at the Atlantic Cemetery.

She was born Sept. 18, 1921 in Atlantic to Leon K. and Rose Eleanor (Anderson) Perkins. She married Richard McGraw on Oct. 22, 1955 in Monrovia, California. She was a retired bookkeeper and key punch-operator. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and the East Gate Chapter 538.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one grandson.

Surviving relatives include her husband; two sons, Richard Aspenson and wife Mary of Nashville, Ind., and Stephen McGraw and wife Pauline of St. Mary’s; two daughters, Patricia Rosendahl and husband Ernest of Otho, and Marilynn Kint and husband Randal of Winterset; one sister, Nadyne Welsh and husband Lee of Des Moines; 15 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
