Laura Marie McCammond, 76, of San Diego, Calif., died of heart failure Sept. 10, 1995.
She was born Sept. 21, 1918 in Winterset to Claude L. and Oris ((Tribbey) Alexander. She married H. H. (Mac) McCammond on March 7, 1944 in Omaha, Neb. She had been a beautician in Des Moines for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents and six sisters.
Surviving relatives include her husband; one son, Michael McCammond and wife Lauralee of San Diego, Calif.; one daughter, Crystle and husband Mark of Enumclaw, Wash.; one sister, Betty Jean and husband L.D. of West Des Moines; one brother, Claude R. and wife Jane of Aitkin, Minn.; eight grandchildren; and one niece, Darcey Paullin of Winterset.
