Donna Marlene Matthews, 58, died Oct. 30, 1994 of cancer at the Hospice Kavanagh House in Des Moines. Funeral services were Nov. 2 at the Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home. Burial was at the Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
She was born in Glenwood, Mo., and returned to Des Moines in 1966 after living in St. Charles, Lorimor and Murray. She was a secretary for Meyer & Slater law office and had been a member of Capitol City Baptist Church.
Surviving relatives include one son, Randall of Lorimor; her mother, Marjorie Hurlbut of Des Moines; and three grandchildren.
