Mary G. (Fenimore) Mesnier, 94, of San Diego, Calif., died Feb. 12, 1995 at her home.

She was born near Peru to Anderson and Mattie (Sawhill) Fenimore. She married Glennon N. Mesnier. She was a teacher in the rural schools in Madison County and a member of the Peru Methodist Church. She had been trained as a Methodist deaconess and worked in churches in Shenandoah and Newton.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.

Surviving relatives include her husband; one daughter, Gay Shearer and husband Dick of San Diego, Calif; one sister, Flossie Herwehe of Norwalk; two brothers, Bryan Fenimore of Borger, Texas, and Clair Fenimore of Peru; and two grandchildren.
