Henry William Schnoor, 92, of St. Charles, died Jan. 29, 1995 of heart failure at the Hillside Convalescent Center in Des Moines. Funeral services will be Feb. 2 at 1 p.m. at the Hamilton's Funeral Home. Visitation will be today, Wednesday, at 6 p.m. with family visitation from 6-8 p.m. Burial will be at the Saver (Sayre) Cemetery near St. Charles.

He was born in Greenwitch, Kansas and had lived several years in St. Charles. He was a carpenter and a member of the Carpenters Union Local in Des Moines.

Surviving relatives include six daughters, Erma Wessinger of Prosperity, S.C., Elnora Schnoor of Des Moines, Darlene Michael of Sun City, Ariz., LaVern R. Zimmerman of Des Moines, Maybell June Fox of Van Wert, and Anna Irene Palmer of Stone Mountain, Ga.; four sons, Emery Schnoor of Pine Rivers, Minn., Harold Schnoor of Rockford, Ill., Milo Schnoor of Truro, and Paul Schnoor of Norwalk; one brother, Milo M. Schnoor of Vinton; two sisters, Emma Thill of Madison, Kan., and Ada Schnoor of Vinton; 43 grandchildren; and 62 great-grandchildren.
