Flora M. Orr, 85, died November 30, 1993 at the Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. Funeral services were held Fri. Dec. 3, 1993 at Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. Bob Epperson officiating. Burial was at the Winterset Cemetery.

She was born January 2, 1908 in Winterset to Alonzo F. and Maggie (Kranz) Powell. She married Claude W. Orr on March 21, 1939 in Des Moines.

She was a homemaker and a lifetime resident of Winterset.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two brothers; and one sister.

Surviving relatives include one son, James (Jim) Orr and wife Tommi of Winterset; one daughter, Betty Smith and husband Charles (Chuck) of Winterset; one sister, Hazel Neal of Winterset; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
