December 8, 1993Jessie L. Roy, 90, died November 30, 1993 at the Good Samaritan Center in Indianola. Funeral services were held at Collins Funeral Home Fri. Dec. 3, 1993 with the Rev. Bob Epperson officiating. Burial was at Hooten Cemetery.
She was born August 19, 1903 in Madison County to David and Della Mae (Wright) Roy. She was a homemaker and a lifetime resident of Madison County, spending most of her life around the St. Charles area.
She was preceded in death by her two brothers and one sister.
Surviving relatives include three half-brothers, George W. Tracy and wife Darlene of Norwalk, Raymond Tracy and wife Jeanette of Winterset, and Wallace Tracy and wife Deloris of Osceola; three half-sisters, Fern Kirkpatrick and husband Elvis of New Virginia, Faye Acton of Kirksville, Mo., and Irene Smothers of Cincinnati; and many nieces and nephews.
