LUTHER MCDONALD Died Thursday

Luther H. McDonald, a life-long resident of Madison county, died at his home northwest of Winterset, Thursday, Jan. 19, 1950, after an illness of several months. He was 69 years of age.

Mr. McDonald was born in Madison county Jan. 11, 1881, a sons of William S. and Barbara Ellen Combs McDonald. His active life was spent in farming.

He was married Feb. 1, 1905, to Maud Amy. They were the parents of one child, who died in infancy.

Surviving are his wife; three sisters, Mrs. Edna Clark, Mrs. Corgie Bennett and Mrs. Mary Kitchell; and three brothers, Robert, Wallace and Earl McDdonald.

Funeral services were held from the Richards Funeral home in Winterset Saturday, in charge of the Rev. Glenn Parrott, pastor of the Winterset Methodist church. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
