Graveside services were held today at 2 p.m. at Young's Cemetery, Truro, for Benjamin Harrison Muselman, Jr. of Truro who died July 3 at his home there. He was 63 years old.
Born May 14, 1919 in Madison county, he was the son of Benjamin and Velma Jones Muselman. He attended Truro schools, graduating from Truro High School in 1936.
He was a World War II veteran and a member of the Des Moines post of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister. Survivors include two sons, Richard and Thomas, both of Des Moines; a sister, Nola Huglin of Truro; 3 grandchildren, a nephew and a great-niece.

Benjamin Harrison Muselman, Jr., 63, of Truro, Iowa, died at his home, Saturday, July 3, 1982. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, July 7, at Young Cemetery in Truro with the Rev. Rick Muselman of Des Moines officiating the 2 p.m. rites.
Benjamin Harrison Muselman Jr. was born May 14, 1919 in Madison County, Iowa, son of Benjamin H. Muselman and Velma Jones Muselman. He attended schools in Truro, graduating in 1936. He was employed in the sales department of Sedalia Fruit and Vegetables, a World War II veteran and a member of the VFW Post in Des Moines.
Survivors include two sons, Rick Muselman and wife, Judith of Des Moines, Tom Muselman and wife, Rebecca of Des Moines, one sister, Nola Hughlin and husband, Dale of Truro, one granddaughter, Christine Muselman of Des Moines, two grandsons, Jeffrey and Jason Muselman of Des Moines and one nephew Bill Dean Huglin and wife Carol.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
