Floyd W. Murphy, Auburn, Calif.

Floyd W. Murphy died at Auburn Faith Community Hospital, Auburn, Calif. on April 2, of a heart attack. He was 75 years old.

He was born in Winterset on May 21, 1914, the son of Earl and Bessie (Preston) Murphy. He graduated from the Winterset High School in the class of 1932.

Mr. Murphy owned and operated a service station in the Colfax, Calif. area until his retirement in 1975. At his request, no memorial service was held. He is survived by 2 nieces, Bonnie Morrow of Lewis, Iowa and Judy Sparks of Pleasantville, Iowa.
