Monty G. King, 35, of Council Bluffs, died of melanoma on June 1, 1995. Funeral services were held June 4 at the Fellowship of Faith Church in Oakland. Pastor Mike Kalstrup officiated the services and burial was at the Zion Congregational Cemetery in Treynor.
He had live in the Treynor/Council Bluffs area for 21 years and was a self-employed welder and custom boat builder.
Surviving relatives include his wife, Cheri King and son, Tyler and daughter, Alyssa of Treynor; his parents, George and Sharon King; one brother, Troy King and wife, Tami; one sister, Marshalle King; all of Treynor; and grandmothers, Maxine Orwan of Winterset and Daisy Dell King of Lorimor.
