Pauline Josephine Klindt, 76, of rural Morning Sun, died May 21, 1994 at Henry County Health Center in Mount Pleasant. Funeral services were held May 24, 1994 at the Hagele and Honts Funeral Home in Mediapolis with burial at Kossuth Cemetery in Mediapolis.
She was born Jan. 4, 1918 in Van Meter to Otto and Eveline (Wishmier) Ziemann. She married Loren R. Klindt on April 10, 1942 in Hannabal (Hannibal), Mo. She was a graduate of Van Meter High School, Simpson College and Iowa Wesleyen (Wesleyan) College in Mount Pleasant. She was a teacher at the Letts, Yarmouth and Mediapolis schools and retired in 1982.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Surviving relatives include her husband; one daughter, Cosette Smith of Burlington; one son, Jute Klindt of Salem; one brother, Don Ziemann of Van Meter; and four grandchildren.
Transcriber note: Pauline’s father owned a farm in Section 21 of Jefferson Township, Madison County carrying a Van Meter address.
