Paul W. Egli, 52, of Lorimor, died Aug. 8, 1995 at Criss Cove County Recreational Park in Winterset. The death was ruled a suicide. Funeral services were Aug. 12 at the Manson Mennonite Church in Manson. Pastor Kurt Kuhns officiated the services and burial was at the Rose Hill Cemetery in Manson.

He was born in Ft. Dodge on Dec. 15, 1942 to Louie L. and Rose Ella (Ulrich) Egli. He married Charlotte Miller. He had been an automotive tool salesman and an ostrich farmer. He had lived in Madison County since 1981 and was of the Mennonite faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.

Surviving relatives include his wife of Osceola; one son, Todd Egli of Ankeny; one daughter, Melanie Egli of Osceola; and two sisters, Fern Kaufman and husband Don of Manson and Kathryn Egli of Columbia, Maryland.
