Charles L. Foreman

Charles L. Foreman, son of Wm. L. and Martha J. Foreman, was born in Lee county, Iowa June 12, 1862 and departed this life March 26, 1923. On Oct. 12, 1886 he was married to Linnie Helm. To this union was born a son who died in infancy.

In 1898 they moved to Webster township, Madison county, where they lived until the fall of 1922, when on account of Mr. Foreman’s declining health, they moved to Winterset. In 1899 he united with the Wells Congregational church.

There remain to mourn his loss, his wife and two sisters; Mrs. Alice Logan of Winterset and Mrs. Effie B. French of Boise, Idaho. The funeral services were held in the First Presbyterian church at half past two March 29th, LeRoy C. Cooley, D.D., officiating, with interment in Rock City cemetery.
