DEATH OF MISS BEEDLE
Miss Elizabeth Ann Beedle, pioneer resident of Madison county, passed away, Friday, June 3, at the home of her niece, Mrs. Geo. Bennett, 84 years of age. She has been in poor health for some time.
Funeral services were held at the Ramsey-Richards funeral home, Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, conducted by Rev. H. L. Olmstead.
She is survived by a sister-in-law, Mrs. A. C. Beedle, and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was born in Madison county October 13, 1848, the daughter of John R. and Isabelle Beedle.

Miss Elizabeth Ann Beedle, 84, daughter of John R. and Isabelle Beedle, died Friday at the home of her niece, Mrs. George Bennett. She had been in ill health some time and an invalid for years.
She was born in Madison county October 13, 1843 (sic) and had lived most of her life in the county. She became a church member when fourteen and had spent seventy years in church work. A sister-in-law, Mrs. A. C. Beedle, and a number of nieces and nephews survive.
Services were conducted Sunday afternoon at 2:30 at the Ramsey-Richards funeral home by the Rev. H. L. Olmstead, pastor of the Church of Christ; burial was northeast of Winterset.
________________________Coordinator's note: The first obituary says she was born in 1848. Her Iowa Death Certificate and her gravestone both say she was born in 1847.
