RALPH V. SPENCER Dies In California

Native of Lee Township Had Lived in West for 19 Years

Ralph V. Spencer, a native of Lee township, died Oct. 30, 1949, in California after a two-year illness, according to word received here by his brother, Ira Spencer. For three months he had been a patient at the Birmingham Veteran's hospital.

Mr. Spencer spent the first 35 years of his life in Lee township but had lived in Hollywood, Calif., for the last 19 years.

Surviving are his wife, Claire, of Hollywood; and two brothers, Ira Spencer of Booneville, and H. D. Spencer of Des Moines.

Burial was made in Forest Lawn cemetery in Hollywood.
