Josephine Spencer, 87, passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2004, at CLC Norwalk
Services were held Saturday, January 24, at Cameron United Methodist Church in Cameron, Missouri. Visitation was held on Friday, January 23, at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola where family was present to greet friends and a prayer service was held at 7:30 p.m.
Josephine was born in Cameron, Missouri. She taught at the Mill Creek Country school, east of Cameron. After working for First National Bank of Stewartsville, Missouri for 28 1/2 years she retired as Vice President in 1981. She moved to the St. Charles area nine years ago and lived her final days at CLC in Norwalk.
She is survived by her son, Denny (Sharry) Hanna of St. Charles; daughters, Betty Jo (Charles) Milbourn of Gladstone, Mo., and Lynda (Ron) Hoggatt of Osborn, Mo.; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements were handled by Overton Funeral Home in Indianola.
