Cindy Sue, daughter of Robert L. and Shirley J. Reimers Morrison, was born May 17, 1960 in Dexter, Iowa and passed away at Veterans Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa on June 21, 1981.
She was raised in Earlham and graduated from the Earlham High School in 1978.
On April 20, 1979 she entered the United States Army, serving as a unit supply specialist. Due to her illness she was separated from the service on March 19, 1981.
In her earlier years at home Cindy enjoyed the outdoors, especially horseback riding.
Her grandparents preceded her in death.
Surviving are her parents, Robert and Shirley Morrison of Earlham; five brothers, Dale R. and Roger L. of DeSoto, Raymond D., Richard G., and Robert L. of Earlham; three sisters, Connie (Mrs. Greg Stroeber), Roberta and Patricia all of Earlham; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Rev. Douglass Clark officiated at the funeral service on Thursday morning at the Link Funeral Home in Stuart, Iowa. Organ and vocal music was provided by Mrs. Debbie Wilson. Casket bearers were Robert Morris, Rick Dunmire, Terry Morrison, Mike Hastie, David College and Cloyd Morey. Interment and military graveside services by James McGhee Post #146 were conducted at South Oak Grove Cemetery, Stuart, Iowa
