2-YEAR-OLD WINTERSET GIRL DIED SUNDAY

Mr. and Mrs. Harold E. Smith of Winterset Lose Small Daughter

Donna Jean Smith, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold E. Smith of Winterset, died at the Blank Memorial hospital in Des Moines Sunday, June 1, at the age of 2 years and 8 months.

The child was born in Winterset Sept. 9, 1944, and her brief life had been spent in this community.

In addition to her parents, she leaves a brother, Phillip, two sisters, Judy and Martha, and her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Elva Smith of Macksburg and Albert Powell of Winterset.

Funeral services were held Tuesday from the Macksburg Methodist church, in charge of the Rev. W. R. Watkins, pastor of the Winterset Church of Christ. Burial was made in the Moon cemetery at Macksburg.
