MRS. MINNIE GRIFFITH OF WINTERSET PASSES

Made Home With Daughter, Mrs. Raymond Hurst, for Past 12 Years

Mrs. Minnie Griffith of Winterset died at the Peterson nursing home here last Friday after a month's illness. She was 73 years of age.

Mrs. Griffith was the daughter of Andrew and Rachel Snyder, who were early settlers of this county. She was born here on Oct. 21, 1872, and lived her entire life in Madison county.

On Dec. 26, 1892, she was married to Isaac Griffith, who preceded her in death on March 24, 1917. For the past 12 years she had made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Raymond Hurst.

She is survived by three daughters; one son; and three grandchildren. She also leaves three sisters, Mrs. Effie Bishop, Mrs. Berteen Clark, and Nellie Snyder, all of Winterset; and a brother, John Snyder of Des Moines.

Funeral services were conducted Sunday from the Ramsey-Richards funeral home, in charge of the Rev. L. F. Davis of Winterset. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
