Eva Lenore Morford, the youngest of six children of Lewis Elmer and Eva Belle Palmer Paullin was born June 13, 1910 in rural Dexter and died June 15, 1988 in Des Moines.
Eva was united in marriage to Clifton Daulton on December 25, 1926 in Booneville. They lived on a farm near Dexter and later moved into Dexter. Clifford died in 1960.
June 2, 1962, Eva and Fred Morford were married in the Dexter United Methodist Church. Fred died in 1975.
Eva was a long time member of the Dexter United Methodist Church and served as secretary for many years. She was also a member of PEO sisterhood, Earlham Star Chapter 294, Rebekah Lodge and other organizations and clubs.
She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers; Ward, Irwin, Walter and Elden and her sister, Myrtle Witkowski. Her survivors include three step children; Fred Morford, Florence Day and Lenore Lineville, nine step-grandchildren and eleven step great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held June 18 from the Dexter United Methodist church, with Rev. Robert Farr officiating. Burial was in Dexter cemetery.
