MRS. CLOYD MOREY OF MACKSBURG DIED

40-Year-Old Mother of Three Children Died Last Saturday

Mrs. Cloyd A. Morey of Macksburg died Saturday, Dec. 7, at a nursing home in St. Charles. She was 40 years of age.

Mrs. Morey was the former Edna Lucille Baker, daughter of Rufus and Mary Warren Baker. She was born near Barney Feb. 28, 1923.

She was married March 26, 1943 at Grant City, Mo., to Cloyd A. Morey. Twenty years of her life had been spent in Madison County. She was a member of the Methodist church.

She is survived by her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Jeanette Christensen of Harlan and Sandra Morey at home; a son, Cloyd Morey Jr., at home; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Rufus Baker; five brothers; and eight sisters.

Funeral services were held Tuesday from the Macksburg Methodist church, conducted by the pastor, the Rev. Donald Frank. Burial was made in Moon cemetery at Macksburg.
