MRS. HARRY BLACK Of Winterset Dies

Mrs. Harry Black, a well known Winterset resident for many years, died Tuesday, Nov. 14, at Madison county Memorial hospital here, after an extened period of failing health. She had been a patient at the hospital for two weeks.

Mrs. Black was 70 years of age, and had been a life-long resident of Madison county and Winterset. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Campbell.

As a young woman she served as a school teacher in the rural schools of Madison county, and also taught in the Winterset public school system. In later years she had served as clerk in various stores. Recently she had been with Graham's Department store here.

She was married in 1907 to Harry Black of Winterset. Her husband is her only near surviving relative. Funeral services have been set for this Friday at 2:30 p.m. from the Richards funeral home. Burial will be in the Winterset cemetery.
