MRS. ROSS MOORE OF EARLHAM DIES

Resident of Madison County For 67 Years; Funeral This Wednesday

Mrs. J. Ross Moore of near Earlham, a resident of Madison county for 67 years, died Sunday, Jan. 29, at Memorial hospital in Winterset. She was 70 years of age.

Mrs. Moore was the former Edna Marie Eisele, daughter of William J. and Marie Jantzen Eisele. She was born in Poweshiek county May 2, 1896. She was married here on Jan. 30, 1919 to J. Ross Moore, who survives her.

Mrs. Moore was a member of the Pitzer United Presbyterian church.

In addition to her husband, she leaves a son, Marvin R. Moore of Earlham; two daughters, Mrs. Marilyn Hines of Albuquerque, N. Mex., and Charlotte M. Moore of Palo Alto, Calif.; four grandchildren; and a brother, Fred H. Eisele of Lakeside, Calif.

Funeral services were to be held this Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the Pitzer United Presbyterian church, conducted by the Rev. Charles T. White. Burial was to be made in the Earlham cemetery.
