MRS. F. B. BROCK Died On Sunday

Mrs. Frank B. Brock of Des Moines, formerly a well known resident of this community, died Sunday at the Mercy hospital there after a short illness, at the age of 75 years. She was the mother of Cuonty Auditor R. O. Brock of Winterset.

Mrs. Brock was the former Sadie M. Ragan. She was born on a farm near Winterset on Feb. 12, 1870, the daughter of Benjamin F. and Zelia Ragan. On Dec. 24, 1891, she was married to Frank B. Brock of this community. They lived on a farm, and in Winterset, until 1923, when they moved to Des Moines.

They were the parents of four children. The eldest, Mrs. Esther Eyerly, died in 1922.

Mrs. Brock was a member of Des Moines chapter, No. 89, Order of Eastern Star, and of Trinity Methodist church.

She is survived by her husband, and three children, R. O. Brock of Winterset, and Grace M. and Elmo R. Brock of Des Moines. She also leaves four brothers, George and Charles Ragan of Minnesota, Benjamin Ragan of Macksburg, and Lawrence Ragan of Mitchellville; and a sister, Mrs. Francis Decker of San Pedro, Calif.; in addition to seven grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.

Funeral services were scheduled to be held this Wednesday from Dunn's funeral home in Des Moines with burial in the Winterset cemetery.
