13-YEAR-OLD BOY DIED WEDNESDAY

Robert W. Akin, Macksburg, Had Been in Delicate Health for Years

Robert Wayne Akin, 13-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Akin of Macksburg died last Wednesday morning at the Blank Memorial hospital in Des Moines. Death was due to heart trouble.

The boy was born in Madison county, on July 8, 1932, and lived all his life here. He had been in delicate health since the age of four years, when he had been stricken with rheumatic fever.

He is survived by his parents; two brothers, Russell and Keith, at home; and three sisters, Margaret, at home, and Mrs. Corine Evans and Mrs. Florence Thomas.

Funeral services were held Sunday from the Macksburg Methodist church, in charge of the Rev. Paul Crouse of Hebron. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
