MRS. LETTIE CURRY DIES AT HOME OF DAUGHTER

Resident of Grand River Past Four Years Was 67 Years Old

Mrs. Lettie Curry, aged 67, died July 13 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Orlie McKee of Grand River township, with whom she had lived for the past four years.

Mrs. Curry was born at Afton April 11, 1878, the daughter of Wesley and Martha Ames. As a young woman she went to Dodge City, Kan., where she was married to William L. Curry on Feb. 13, 1898. Their married life was spent in Kansas. Following her husband's death in 1918, she moved to Creston, where she lived until going to Mrs. McKee's home in 1940.

In addition to her daughter, Mrs. Curry leaves one grandson, Kenneth McKee of Grand River township two brothers, Walter and Oral Ames of Creston; and three sisters, Mrs. Flora Hodson and Mrs. Myrtle Miller of Creston, and Mrs. Dora Hartman of Des Moines.

Funeral services were held July 16 from the Assembly of God church in Creston, and burial was made in the Graceland cemetery there.
