Death Of A. R. FARLOW

Albert R. Farlow, 75 years old, and a resident of Madison county for more than half a century, died at his home in Winterset on Thursday, November l, 1934, after years of ill health.

He was the son of Absalom and Sarah Farlow and was born near Clarksville, in Butler county, Iowa, on February 23, 1858. He was the youngest of 10 children, all of whom are deceased. As a small boy he moved with his parents to Kirksville, Missouri, living there until he was 20 years old, when he came to this county, where his home has been since that time.

On April 29, 1880, he was married to Mary Teays. They were the parents of seven children, five sons and two daughters. One daughter, Juanita, died in 1914. In addition to his wife, the following children survive: Welba C. Farlow, Fred A. Farlow, Ralph E. Farlow, Earl A. Farlow and Mrs. Mary Greenwood, all of Winterset, and Glen M. Farlow of Tacoma, Washington. There are also 14 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Funeral services were conducted from the Tidrick Funeral home at 2 p.m., Saturday, in charge of the Rev. H. L. Olmstead, of the Church of Christ. Burial was in the Winterset cemetery.
