Justin Blomquist, Stuart

Justin Adolph Blomquist, 87, of Stuart, died Dec. 7, 1995 at the Guthrie County Memorial Hospital. Funeral services were Dec. 11 at the Dexter Methodist Church. The Rev. Kathy Sides officiated and burial was at the Dexter Cemetery.

He was born March 2, 1908 in Phelps County, Nebraska to Andrew John and Ullma Sophia (Lundvall) Blomquist. He married Vera Blomquist on March 11, 1932 in Dexter. He was a retired farmer and had lived in Stuart the past four years, before that he lived in Earlham for nine years and Dexter for 47 years. He was a member of the Dexter Methodist Church and the Madison County Farm Bureau.

He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers; and three sisters.

Surviving relatives include his wife of Stuart; one daughter, Sandra Rogers of Dexter; two brothers, Milford and Raymond Blomquist, both of Stuart; on e sister, Vera Marlenee of Adel; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
