Lee (Bud) Burdette Bever, 74, died September 28, 1993 at his home in Perry. Services were October 2, 1993 at Hastings Funeral Home in Perry.
He was born January 18, 1919 to Frank Clyde and Bessie Mabel Britton Bever in Dallas County, west of Adel. He married Betty Elaine England on November 12, 1942 in Carson City, Nev.
He lived west of Adel with his family until 1930 when they moved to Dallas Center. He worked at an oil station in Dallas Center until he entered the U.S. Army in 1941. After the death of his wife, he remained in Granger until he moved to Perry in 1983.
He was preceded in death by his wife; his son Danny in March of 1993; and his sister Evelyn.
Among his surviving relatives is a sister, Beulah Hansel of Winterset.
