Edgar Allen Moore, Winterset

Edgar Allen Moore, 96, died January 1 of a heart ailment at Bethesda Care Center. Funeral services were held Sat., Jan. 4 at Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. Bob Epperson and the Rev. Terry Kerr officiating.

A lifetime Madison County resident, he was born Mary 3, 1895 to Elmer Rudolphus and Nora May (Coffman) Moore. He married Lillie May Richmond January 24, 1923 in Winterset. He was a retired farmer, a World War I Army veteran and a member of Four Square Gospel Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.

Surviving are his wife, two nieces and several cousins.

Burial was at Winterset Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
