B. Rachael Berkland, 50, of Des Moines, died April 18, 1994 of a heart ailment at Des Moines General Hospital. The body was cremated and no services were planned. Hamilton’s Funeral Home handled all arrangements.

She was a homemaker and was born in Des Moines and lived there most of her life.

Surviving relatives include two half-sisters, Delores Edwards and Dorothy Magnani, both of Macksburg.
