DEATH OF MRS. CECIL HUDSON

Mrs. Cecil Hudson, died at the Iowa Lutheran hospital in Des Moines, Friday, January 15th, after an extended illness. Mrs. Hudson was the former Miss Myrtle Acheson and was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lem Acheson of Winterset. She became ill several months ago, and several major operations were performed, but her condition continued to grow worse.

The deceased was born in Winterset on February 6, 1905 and most of her life was spent in Winterset. She was married to Cecil Hudson June 2, 1923, and they have recently been residing in Des Moines. In addition to her husband and her parents, Mrs. Hudson leaves five brothers, William, Bert, James, Ray and Sol and one sister, Mary, all of whom live at Winterset.

Funeral services were held from the Ramsey-Richards Funeral home, Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock and were in charge of Rev. John T. Hall, pastor of the First Baptist church. Burial was in the Winterset cemetery.
