Floyd 'Bud' Schwab, 88, of Winterset, died of complications of Alzheimer's Disease Feb. 9, 1995 at the Care Center North in Winterset. Funeral services were held Feb. 11, at Collins Funeral Home in Winterset. Pastor David Elmore officiated the ceremony with burial at the Winterset Cemetery.
He was born in Adair County on July 6, 1906 to Lester A. and Gertrude (Deuel) Schwab. He married Bernice Bruett and had lived in Madison County for the past 60 years. He was a retired farmer and had worked as a carpenter. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one infant son and daughter; one brother; and one sister.
Surviving relatives include his wife; two brothers, Walter Schwab of Springfield, Ore., and Richard Schwab of Valley City, N.D.; and two sisters, Wilma Adkins of Greenfield, and Helen Swisher of Eugene, Ore.
