Former Macksburg Resident Had Lived at Adel Four Years

L. D. Wallace, former Macksburg resident, died Aug. 8 at his home in Adel, where he had lived the past four years. He was 66 years of age.

Mr. Wallace was born at Bedford, Jan. 2, 1877, the son of Isaac and Mary Jones Wallace. He was married to Etta Cade on Nov. 21, 1894.

He is survived by his wife, eight children, Orville Wallace of Rockwell City, Lloyd Wallace of Winterset, Ova Wallace of Macksburg, Delmar Wallace of Macksburg, Mrs. Cleo Penn of Winterset, Eldridge Wallace of Trenton, Mo., and Donald Wallace and Mrs. Velma Hougham of Adel. He also leaves a brother, Frank Wallace of Gravity.

Funeral services were held from the Methodist church at Adel, and burial was made at Macksburg.
