BURIAL HERE FOR FORMER RESIDENT

Funeral services were held last Thursday from the Collins Funeral home in Winterset for Mrs. Helen L. Collins Nelson of Omaha, whose death had occurred at Omaha Oct. 11.

Mrs. Nelson was 62 years of age at her death. She was the former Helen Ladine Pratt, daughter of Edward and Cora Buttler Pratt. She was born in Madison county Sept. 7, 1909 and 38 years of her life were spent in this community.

She is survived by her husband, Floyd Nelson of Omaha; a son, Merlin Collins of Winterset; two grandsons, Steve and Mike Collins; and a brother, Orville Pratt of Winterset.

The Rev. H. E. Borum, pastor of the First Baptist church of Winterset, conducted the funeral services here Thursday. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
