BURIAL SERVICE AT ST. CHARLES

Mrs. Jessie Carpenter, a native of Winterset, died Monday, Oct. 18, in Des Moines. She was 76 years of age.

Funeral services were held last Thursday at Indianola, and burial was made in the St. Charles cemetery.

She is survived by three sons, Delbert Carpenter of St. Louis, Mo., Everett Carpenter of Des Moines, Ivan Carpenter of El Cajon, Calif.; three brothers, Luther and Donald Young of Indianola and Fred Young of St. Charles; three sisters, Mrs. Ida Young of St. Marys, and Mrs. Nellie Chamberlain and Mrs. Wilma Foley of Peru; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
