Former Resident Dies in California

Word has been received here of the death of Mrs. Carter B. Mills, the former Mildred Cox at a hospital in Whittier, California, January 26th.

Mrs. Mills was born in Madison County in January 1919 the daughter of Nora Leach and Richard Lee Cox and attended schools in Madison County. She moved to California in the 1940s.

She is survived by her husband.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services were held in Whittier, California today (Wednesday).
