Services for Glenn Parker, 78, Winterset, who died March 15 at Mercy Medical Center, were held Mon., March 19, at the first United Methodist Church with the Rev. Clarence and the Rev. Zona Lautt officiating. Burial was at the North McDonald Cemetery.

Born in Madison County on May 31, 1911, he was the son of Charles and Clara Bray Parker. He was a retired carpenter and spent most of his lifetime in Madison County and Winterset. Mr. Parker was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mabel; sons, Loren Parker of Winterset and Larry Parker of Schoolcraft, Mich.; a brother, Raymond Parker of Winterset; a sister, Wilma McDonald of Winterset; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a grandson and eight brothers.
